This product  It goes on quickly and easily and can be removed readily for greater control of the coloring process. This product is water-based, non-hazardous, and zero V.O.C. It comes in 7 of the colors of the RMC Colored Release Powder Chart.
Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, in temperatures below 120 F.  Shelf life is approximately one year but will last must longer if containers are kept tightly sealed.

Coverage

One 3-pound bucket of RMC Tique covers approximately 2000-3000 Sf depending on dosage.

Application

RMC Tique is intended for professional use only.  It comes in a 1-gallon pal with approximately 3 pounds of colored powder and a three-quarter scoop wrapped in a plastic bag.  To mix; pull out an open the bag of RMC Tique powder, fill the 1-gallon bucket with water and mix in one full three-quarter cup scoop of the powder.  Use more or less of the product in one gallon of water to achieve different results in color intensity.

RMC Tique can be mixed readily with a stir stick so motorized mixing is not necessary, but the product in the container will need to be agitated periodically during application to keep the solids from settling.  This settling property of RMC Tique is important in reaching the desired antique effect.  Before applying the product to unsealed concrete, it is helpful to pre-moisten the surface with water so the liquid color will have time to even out and settle properly.  The most basic technique to apply the RMC Tique is to simply pour the liquid color straight onto the horizontal concrete surface with a standard garden watering can, making sure to leave a uniform coat of liquid over the area to be covered.

If necessary, liquid RMC Tique can be spread quickly and easily with a clean push broom.  RMC Tique can be cleaned up readily with water while it is still wet and can be wiped off with a clean dry sponge when dry.

Sealing and Maintenance

A quality RMC Premium Sealer is recommended to protect the newly colored surface.  The concrete must be cleaned and thoroughly dried prior to application.  Inspect annually for areas of thin or worn sealer and re-apply, as necessary.  Standard cleaning practices for colored concrete should be followed. Scheduled periodic cleaning to avid accumulation of dirt for flatwork and floors are easily maintained by sweeping, cleaning spills as they occur, hosing off dirt with clean water and treating heavily soiled areas with RMC Cleaner Degreaser.

Notes: Experimentation of colors and application methods is recommended as the color of the actual product may differ.  Test sections must be produced on each concrete surface.  Even in a controlled environment, cements, aggregates, water content and concrete curing methods will contribute to different results.  Final color approval should be made with actual material and sealer section. However, variations of mock-up samples due to reproduction limitations should be expected.
