A white concrete mix is accomplished with the use of white cement. A black concrete mix is achieved by using gray cement combined with black iron oxide pigment or carbon black colorants. Ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) is available in white or gray base colors. Minimal use of course aggregates create a high strength mortar mix. The addition of recycled expanded glass creates a lightweight concrete mix that is desirable for use in concrete molds and countertops fabrications. Use of a CSA cement speeds setting time in cold climates.
