BC-8010 is a two-part, fast-setting urethane tooling and reproduction resin that simulates many of the desirable characteristics of aluminum metal. BC-8010 cures to a gray, Shore D83 plastic, is highly machinable and exhibits good heat transfer properties. It is an ideal resin for many applications, including construction of short run low temperature vacuum form tools, prototypes, models, display parts, fixturing and bulk back fill.

  • Notes: Shake or Stir Part A & Part B before use. Demold time varies with thickness of casting. The thinner the casting, the longer the demold time. Shrinkage in polyurethane resins is caused by gelling while hot then cooling.
