Spiked Rollers
Spiked rollers are designed for use with a wide range of epoxy floor coatings including self-leveling and polishable overlayment products. Using a spiked roller on freshly applied coatings and toppings helps eliminate air bubbles. Air bubbles may become trapped below the surface of a coating during the early stages of a product’s curing process. The spiked roller helps gas and air bubbles escape from smaller capillaries in the concrete substrate. As a result, a coating wicks its way into those voids where it properly bonds to the concrete surface.
