Dosage
Admix 7 may be dosed at 2 ounces to 12 ounces per 100/weight of total cementitious material. Typical applications range from 5 ounces to 10 ounces per 100/ weight
Carbon Reduction - Admix-7 reduces carbon emissions on a construction project in many ways:
- Cement replacement - Cement production creates more carbon emissions than nearly any other building material. By reducing the overall need for cement Admix-7 reduces the carbon associated with a project.
- Elimination of curing compounds - Since Admix-7 allows the concrete to cure internally, the need for topical curing products is eliminated. This also means that the concern of washing resin-based compounds into the storm sewer or waterway is eliminated.
- Time - Admix-7 speeds up the overall construction schedule, resulting in fewer days of a job-site consuming fuel. Generators, heating, lighting all require fossil fuels to operate. By cutting those days out of the schedule, the overall carbon exposure of a project is greatly reduced.
