The Saw Muzzle Type E is designed to work with the industrial grade 10"-16" electric cutoff saws to collect point of origin dust created from cutting concrete, fiberglass or any other materials that create toxic pollutants. How the Saw Muzzle Type E works
The Saw Muzzle Type E is made from fiberglass filled ABS plastic. It is durable and abrasion resistant. The Saw Muzzle Type E uses the centrifugal forces generated by the saw blade to direct the dust into the intake port of the Saw Muzzle. When the Saw Muzzle Type E is connected to an industrial grade 2hp vacuum system, it can remove up to 99% of the dusts created at the point of origin.

Most electric cutoff saws are built off a grinder body and use a similar base plate. The Saw Muzzle Type E takes advantage of this common design to use a simple, versatile mounting bracket that fits almost all brands.

Applications

The Saw Muzzle Type E is excellent for cutting cinder block, brick, stone and composite materials. The Saw Muzzle Type is efficient when making a single pass cut of anywhere from 1"-5" or multiple pass cuts. It is also excellent for cutting large diameter plastic and fiberglass pipe and for roofing applications.

OSHA 2017 Silica Dust Requirements specify a HEPA vacuum with a minimum of 175 CFM for blades 7" in diameter and greater. For better efficiency with the Saw Muzzle Type E it is recommended to use a vacuum system with a minimum of 175 CFM. 220 CFM Vacuum System
